§ 01 — The offering
A club you can stay in,
not just play at.
Most pickleball facilities are a building with courts inside it. This one is a place you arrive at on a Sunday and leave on the following Saturday.
Four covered courts sit at the centre, roofed against sun and rain so play holds through the day and through the season. Around them: thirty-two cabanas, a clubhouse restaurant under palapa, a pool, a pro shop, and a show court with bleachers for finals.
It shares its land, its kitchen, and its trails with the rest of Rancho de las Estrellas — a small coastal community with a yoga shala, a school taking shape, and roughly seventy percent of its land kept open.

§ 02 — Why here
The season runs when
everywhere else freezes.
Reachable
Fifty minutes by road from Puerto Escondido's international airport, with direct flights from Mexico City and seasonal connections onward. Fifteen minutes from Río Grande for anything you forgot to pack.
Somewhere worth the trip
The club sits beside Parque Nacional Lagunas de Chacahua, protected since 1937. Mangrove channels five minutes away, an empty Pacific beach a ten-minute walk, and one of the darkest night skies left on this coast.
Not a resort strip
No towers, no boardwalk, no chain hotels. A fishing village next door, a working lagoon, and a community that decided to build slowly. The setting is the differentiator, and it isn't reproducible.

Clubhouse & terrace
An open-air palapa for meals, results boards and the long lunch that follows a morning bracket. Oaxacan kitchen, locally sourced.
Pool
For the hour between the semi-final and dinner. Shaded loungers, and a bar within walking distance of the water.
Pro shop
Paddles, grips, shoes and restringing — plus demo stock, because nobody wants to travel with three paddles.
Lockers & changing
Timber-lined, daylit, and steps from the courts. Somewhere to leave a bag between an early match and an afternoon one.
Recovery & mobility
El Sueño's open-air shala is on the same land — mobility work, stretch sessions and breathwork between match days.
Facilities that open to the garden
Washrooms and showers built to the same standard as the rest — ventilated, planted, and open to the air on one side.
§ 04 — Programming
Five ways to
use the place.
Tournament weeks
Multi-night events built around a bracket — play, meals, lodging and evenings included. Run in the high season, on courts that hold up to a full draw, with a show court and seating for finals.
Camps & clinics
Coaching blocks for small groups, from third-shot fundamentals to advanced strategy. Mornings on court, afternoons in the water or on the trails, video review after dinner.
Bring your own group
Clubs, leagues and travelling squads can take the courts and the cabanas for a week. You organise the players; we handle courts, kitchen, transfers and everything between.
Drop-in & open play
Court time by the hour for guests, residents and visitors staying nearby — organised open play in the cooler hours, ladders and social nights through the week.
Local & seasonal membership
For people living on this coast or wintering here: court access, open play, and the clubhouse. The club is meant to have regulars, not only visitors.

§ 05 — Beyond the court
There is a lot to do
with a rest day.
Guests rarely spend a whole week on court. The land around the club is the reason people extend their stay — and the reason they come back outside the season.
The lagoon & the park
Mangrove channels by panga, herons at dawn, crocodiles on the banks, and an empty Pacific beach you can walk for hours.
